6th graders are finishing up a Realistic Fiction Novel Unit based on Gary Paulsen's work. As a way to show their learning, they will create their own Storybird using a theme from one of the novels. Parents may check on individual student work and finished product by using the username and password given to your sixth grader.

Summer Reading Suggestions
Hello and happy summer!
I hope all is well and that you are enjoying your time away from school!
I've put together some titles of books you may want to check out this summer. Remember, this is not the only way to hear about a good book. Your local librarians, friends and siblings can always get you hooked on a book or series. Be open to trying something you wouldn't normally read!
Most importantly, read, read, read!!
